AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 20 2015 /PRNewswire/ — ClearBlade, a leading platform for building enterprise mobile apps and services, today announced that Steve Manweiler has been named Vice President of Product. Manweiler will lead development and engineering efforts for the organization, and will be responsible for managing the expansion of ClearBlade’s platform product.

Manweiler brings more than two decades of software and product development experience to ClearBlade. Most notably, he was the CTO of Vignette. As the first employee of the organization, Manweiler was instrumental in building the company’s early growth, developing the initial architecture and contributing directly to its product strategy, direction and merger and acquisition activity.

Earlier in his career Manweiler was a Venture Fellow at AV Labs, where he utilized his deep technical skills and experience in the start up arena to grow a large range of portfolio companies. Previously he was the CTO of Troux Technologies, and held software engineering and architecture positions at both Hal Computer Systems and Hewlett-Packard.
