1. Login

When starting ClearConcert, you will be taken to a welcome screen. Click Sign in and enter your server url, user id, and password in the appropriate fields, then continue.

These are the same values you would enter to access your Rational Team Concert instance from a web browser. With these credentials you will have the ability to interact with all items where you have permissions.

2. Home

After successfully logging in, the home screen now presents you with your favorites (of which you do not have any yet). You can also tap the settings button at the top left to view your information and logout.

3. Search by Keyword or Work Item ID

After clicking the search tab at the bottom, the "Search" view is presented. This view allows multiple ways to search your repository.

If you know the identifier for a work item you can enter the number directly into the search field as a number "2585".
When ready press "Search" and you will be transferred to the search results by project area screen, and then the results screen.

4. Query Search

The other way to interact with the search function is using queries. Begin by clicking the "Query" tab at the bottom, the one that looks like a folder. Navigate from there navigate to the desired work area by selecting your project area, then your query.
Once a query is choosen ClearConcert will search the repository and present to you a list of matching work items. Clicking on one of the items returned will navigate to the Work Items view.

6. Work Item View

After searching for a work item and navigating to the work item view you will be presented many of the attributes visible on the item.
All of the editable attributes for the work item have a blue arrow.

7. Edit a Work Item

After clicking any of the items that have a blue arrow, you will be presented with a new screen that has several options for the work item. You may either select a new value and press 'Save' to save a change, or press cancel to go back.

8. Favorites

You can add any work item, search, or query as a favorite. In any screen that allows you to add it as a favorite, you will see a star button at the top right of the toolbar. Use this to toggle whether the screen is a favorite.
When a screen is set as a favorite, it will be saved to the favorites list on the homescreen for easy acccess.

More Information

If you want to login to a new server, simply go home, press the settings button, and then the logout button and you will be redirected to the login screen again, where you may login with a different server. If you perform a server rename, change the URL of the repository on your configuration and access again.
